Productivity: The system has an output of 120 scripts per hour. The Company estimates that its 219 drug hoppers automates 65% of a pharmacy's prescription volume. In addition, the system has a unique feature in which it can produce labeled vials for non-automated scripts further enhancing the pharmacy's productivity. Set Up: The system is shipped to the site fully assembled facilitating a quick installation process with minimal site preparation. The unit weighs approximately 900 lbs and uses 110 volts on a non-dedicated circuit. The system measures 2' x 8' and slides under your pharmacy counter thereby integrating into the existing fulfillment workflow. Vial Handling: The system has 2 automated bulk vial storage feeding units. Vials are 'poured' into the storage units eliminating the need to hand stack or manually load the vials. The system can accommodate vial sizes ranging from 12 to 40 drams. Drug Storage Hoppers: The system accommodates 219 drug storage hoppers. The storage hoppers measure approximately 3" x 6" x 4" and hold approximately 250 drams (1,250, 325mg aspirins). The hoppers can handle any size oral solid and are calibrated on-site with a simple adjustment inside the hopper. Checking & Verification: The system sorts the prescriptions into 1 of 9 grouping lanes by customer. The checking pharmacist scans the labeled vial and compares the vial content to a computer generated image of the drug for proper match. The system tracks all dispensing activity by operator including replenishment. Accuracy and Reliability: The Microfil 219 system has a count accuracy rate of 99.7%. The system verifies the correct dispensing profile through the utilization of 3 bar code scans/checks. A record of operator identity is tracked throughout the filling and replenishment activities.
